Any Sports fans out there? Did anyone catch the NBA All-Star weekend? I thought it was pretty impressive. One of the main features that i like about the event is that before the big game, There are skill competitions held the night before. Here's A Recap:
This is my favorite part because while the number of competitors in each competition are small, it showcases the best the league has to offer. But im Wondering, What about the other sports? Sure the MLB has the Home Run Derby During Its All Star game, but what about a showcase for athletes in soccer, Football or even Hockey? they all have their big games, but no showcase events? Do we not have the time, are the skills and techniques used not enough for competitions? Just throwing a thought out there.
One last thing, the most important thing about these weekends isnt about who's better than who (Well, Maybe the All-Star Game), But about having Fun. With That Said...
