Dont F%*k With The FIllies!

Yes! For the first time in 102 Years, A Filly has won the Belmont Stakes! For those who dont know a Filly is a female horse. Going to the racetrack this weekend, i never expected to have as much fun or to see so many people doing so. And if you saw the bet stats at the end You know i won big....yes i put $4 down on the superfecta and was pissed that i didnt make a bigger wager. But nonetheless i was shocked seeing i picked out the four placing horses correctly. My uncle, who came up from florida had come to see the belmont stakes. the night before, he taught me about handicapping and how some people choose who they think will win.

Of Course, His choise was Everyones favorite, Curlin. now while statistically, he was right, On another end, ive noticed Since Smarty Jones came close to nailing the Triple Crown, The Favorite Has Never Won At The Belmont Stakes! Sure they come out with a strong lead, but at that final turn, everything becomes an upset. so i took part of the advice that my uncle gave, and thought, Who would place Second. and then i did that and thought, "usually the winner of the belmont stakes is the horse that is least likely to win", and looking at the statistics, Rags to Riches has Lost to curlin and tiago before, so i thought about it like this, I felt that Tiago was going to win, curlin was to be in second, Rags would come in third, and fourth would be Hard Spun, another favorite of my uncle's. who would have thought that when i boxed those four, they would end up getting me nearly $250! added to that i took part in a Historic Moment in Racehorse History!

overall, it started out moderate, I won the second race and Aced the "Just a Game race", and turned out big. who would have thought that watching horses race for six hours, would turn out profitable, and become one of the most exciting things i ever saw?
